What to do after a liquid spill?

Spilling liquid on a Mac is one of the most common and serious accidents. Speed of action is critical — every minute counts.

Yes. We service MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with all Apple Silicon processors (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5), including battery replacement, screen replacement and logic board repair.

What should I do immediately after spilling liquid on my MacBook?+

Shut down the MacBook immediately and unplug the power. Do not switch it on and do not try to dry it. Do not turn it upside down. Bring it to iLabPro as soon as possible — professional liquid damage cleaning is more successful the faster you act.

Is it possible to recover data from a broken MacBook?+

In most cases yes. We offer data recovery from MacBooks that won't turn on, have a damaged SSD or have been exposed to liquid. Before each attempt we carry out a free assessment of the possibilities.

How long does a MacBook repair take?+

Simpler repairs such as battery replacement are often completed same day. Logic board repair or screen replacement typically takes 1–3 working days depending on the model and extent of the fault. We recommend calling or writing to us in advance so we can book you in.

How long is the warranty on repairs?+

We provide a 3-month warranty on all repairs and installed parts. If the repaired component fails within the warranty period, we fix it free of charge.

Do you use original Apple parts or aftermarket replacements?+

The choice is yours. We offer both genuine Apple parts and quality replacement parts from verified suppliers. Before the repair, we explain the difference in price and quality — you decide.

What does the free cost estimate include?+

The free cost estimate includes a full inspection of your device, identification of the fault, and a written quote for the repair. There is no obligation — if you decide not to proceed, the diagnostic is free.

Do you repair iMac screens?+

Yes. We replace iMac displays across all generations, including the latest iMac M4. Price depends on the model — call us for a free estimate.

Do you clean MacBook fans after liquid damage?+

Yes. After liquid damage we perform a full clean of the MacBook, including disassembly and isopropanol or ultrasonic cleaning of the logic board, fans and all components. Acting quickly significantly improves the chances of a successful repair.

Is it worth repairing an older MacBook?+

Often yes, especially for battery replacement, screen repair, or SSD upgrades. Older Intel MacBooks can often be upgraded with a new drive or more RAM. We advise on a case-by-case basis after a free diagnostic.
